No flour, no eggs, and no sugar cookies! yes, I know it may sound a bit surprising, after all, it’s about being creative and healthy this time. Oat cookies are my new favorite and I always look forward to including oats in all my sweet baking items. These gooey, soft, and yet so crunchy cookies are made keeping in mind calorie intake 🙂
Calories – 70c per cookie
Prep time – 5 minutes
Cooking time – 15 minutes
Serves – 4 medium size cookies
1 Banana (mashed)
4-5 Tbsp. Oats
1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter (preferably runny peanut butter)
2-3 Strawberries (chopped)
- Blend all the above ingredients in a blender or you can just simply give it a good mix using your hand, you can add few drops of vanilla extract for the sweet aroma.
- Place a parchment/butter paper on a baking tray. Scoop out small quantities of the mixture and flatten them slightly with your palm or back of the spoon like a round cookie.
- Bake for about 20-25mins (remember these cookies are going to be soft and gooey as they are made without baking soda or flour)
- Let it cool down for an hour or so before you eat them, best served when they are cold.
Enjoy these oat cookies without worrying about sugar or calories. Please do let me know if you have some similar ideas to share via contact me or drop in a message in the comments section if you tried these cookies.
