Scrambled Eggs with Prawns & Beans Sprouts

Oh yes! It is delicious as it sounds. Breakfast ideas can get monotonous, so I keep experimenting with new things and when the recipe turns out to be awesome, I happily share it with you all. I tried this easy and quick scrambled eggs with some prawns and beans sprouts which tasted heavenly and made up the entire day’s mood. Without any further ado, I have mentioned the entire recipe below.

Calories – 180c
Prep time – 2 minutes
Cook time – 7 minutes
Serves – 2


4 Eggs
2-3 Tbsp Butter
100gm Prawns
Handful Beans Sprouts
Handful Spring Onions
2 Green Chilies
2 Garlic Cloves
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce (optional)
Seasoning (salt and black pepper powder)
Garnish (chopped spring onions and black or white sesame seeds)


  • Heat butter in a pan, and add minced garlic and green chilies. Add salt to taste, a pinch of black pepper powder, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
  • Crack open 4 eggs and scramble them well (add more butter/oil, if needed)
  • Add Beans Sprouts and Prawns and cook for about 2 minutes. Cover the lid and switch off the stove for 30 seconds (the prawns will cook in the hot steam.)

    Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds and enjoy with a slice of sourdough, steamed rice, or just on its own. A low-carb breakfast idea is ready in no time. I hope you try this recipe and share more ideas with me via contact me on the homepage.
