Ginger-Cinnamon Cookies

This is a delicious and scrumptious ginger cookies recipe ever! No funny ingredients, no chilling time, etc. Just a simple, straightforward, aromatic, doughy yet still fully cooked and crispy cookie that turns out perfect every single time!

Calories – 50c per cookie
Prep time – 5 mins for the cookies dough (15 mins pre-heat the oven)
Cook time- 20 minutes
Serves – 10 cookies

Ingredients:

200 gms or 1 cup of all-purpose Flour
5Tbsp softened salted Butter
1 Egg Yolk
5 Tbsp Granulated brown or white Sugar or 3 packets of Stevia
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
2 Tbsp Ginger Powder
1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
A handful of granulated sugar in a bowl for garnish (optional)

Recipe:

  • Pre-heat the oven for 15 mins on 180c. Meanwhile mix all the dry ingredients together: Flour, Sugar, Baking powder and soda, Ginger powder, and Cinnamon powder.
  • In a food blender or in a large mixing bowl add the above dry mixture, add softened Butter, Vanilla Essence, Egg Yolk, and Honey, and mix well until you get a doughy-gooey texture. Arrange a baking sheet on the baking mat. Make small round cookie dough shapes of the mixture and garnish each dough with granulated sugar (by inserting the cookie dough in a bowl of sugar, optional).
  • Place the cookie dough on the mat with enough space between them as thy will become bigger during the baking process.
  • Bake for 15 minutes on 200C. Let the cookies cool down to harden after you remove them from the oven.
